Following the anticipations and hints that have come in recent months from the developers of Hogwarts Legacy, new video has finally confirmed the comeback of one of the wizarding families most beloved by fans of the Harry Potter saga.

The new videogame chapter set in the Wizarding World is going to be set long before the events narrated in the books and movies, which fans certainly know well, offering a perfect opportunity to leave some easter egg and reference for fans to pick up on.

Here, we’re talking about the return of the Weasley family: back last March, however, Avalanche Software anticipated we might meet some old acquaintances, and confirmed it with a new gameplay video.

As reported by PCGamesN, that reveal came in a new video interview on the XpectoGO YouTube channel, where host James Whitehead visited the developers to discuss character creation and combat.

However, the more interesting aspect of the video that was about to go unnoticed is a surprise reveal that took place behind the scenes.

In fact, some screens in the background of the room show some gameplay scenes, also showing us a new character named Hector Weasley.

You can see the “reveal” for yourself in the following video, at around minute 7:10 in the screen located to the left in the background: we suggest you set the quality of the footage to 4K, so you can clearly read the writing.

Explore Ted’s Latest Misadventures: “Seth MacFarlane’s Ted returns with more uproarious antics. Get the scoop on the latest series with our comprehensive Ted Comedy Review, and see if Ted still has the magic to charm and entertain.”

Obviously, this doesn’t necessarily mean that this will be a major character in the story, but in any case it is an easter egg that fans will certainly appreciate, since members of the Weasley family have always been among the most loved characters by Harry Potter readers.

In the event that Avalanche Software instead confirms that Hector Weasley will fill a more important role as one of our companions in Hogwarts Legacy, we will promptly inform you on our website.

Meanwhile, we remind you that just a few weeks ago the developers showed us in great details the gameplay with a full 40-minute movie, and also they released in the past few days a new relaxing ASMR video to enjoy the sound of the Hogwarts settings.

From Albus Dumbledore to Alastor “Mad-Eye” Moody, the Harry Potter universe is teeming with formidable wizards. Unearth the unexpected depths of their powers and join us as we reveal the top ten powerhouses. Don’t miss out on this magical journey.
