The new version of Project Japan, a powerful mod for Euro Truck Simulator 2 that lets you play on the roads of the Land of the Cherry Blossom, was released.

New version has been marked with the number 1.0.8. The update, above all, matches the modification to the latest version of ETS2, i.e. 1.46. Moreover, the creators have improved some of the locations and removed many technical bugs.

Let’s recall that Project Japan introduces a new map to Euro Truck Simulator 2, reproducing modern Japan. Modification is huge and the level of execution resembles more an official add-on than a fan production.

Developers have prepared a mass of new objects, commodities and cars. On top of that, gameplay has been heavily reworked to reflect Japanese traffic regulations (including left-hand traffic) and the local economic realities.

Authors have also included quite a few easter eggs and finds (e.g. viewpoints or places worthy of being photographed) for most inquisitive players, which are a nice break from freight work.
