James Bond Role Now Has a New Candidate, Fans’ Opinions Are Split

Surprisingly, Aaron Taylor-Johnson has become one of the leading candidates to become the new James Bond. The cinematic Quicksilver from Marvel’s production has reportedly met with one of the series’ producers. Internet users’ opinions are divided. Not everybody liked the idea.

Rumors recently began to surface that the actor would be targeted by Barbara Broccoli, who is tasked with finding a successor to Daniel Craig. Now, those rumors have been confirmed by well-informed Hollywood journalist Matthew Belloni of Puck News.

Some internet users reacted optimistically to the news, particularly after the artist’s performance in last year’s film “Bullet Train.” Some believe Taylor-Johnson would be a good choice because he is not permanently tied to any particular brand of films, thus making him less easy to pigeonhole.

Meanwhile, Others are still hoping that Idris Elba or Henry Cavill, about whom a lot of fuss has been made recently, would take up service with His Majesty the King.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson has extensive experience with action cinema. Among others, he appeared in such productions as “King’s Man: The First Mission”, “Tenet”, “King Outlaw”. “Bullet Train” and both parts of “Kick-Ass”.

It’s worth noting that the role of James Bond involves a long and demanding commitment, so the producers will choose the new cast of the popular series very carefully.
