Piers Harding-Rolls, head of research for Ampere Analysis, acknowledged that EA’s games consistently receive great interest and only rivals Fortnite in terms of active user participation across all consoles.
EA’s extensive catalog of games, combined with its consistency in ensuring active user participation, has put it in a strong position on Xbox and PlayStation.
FIFA 23, in particular, has enjoyed an exceptional result, leading all rankings and responsible for over 16% of the monthly activities of all players on Sony and Microsoft consoles. Statistically, fans played EA football on 35% of the days in February.
