Square Enix is offering a generous deal to Final Fantasy XIV players by making the Stormblood expansion available for free. The company has made the offer available not only on PC but also on consoles, which is a fantastic gesture for fans of the game.

To claim the Stormblood expansion, players need to own the Final Fantasy XIV Online Starter Edition (A Realm Reborn) or purchase it in the coming weeks.

The bundle, released in 2017, comes with a range of new features, including 15 dungeons, a new island, the hunt for Rathalos, and two additional character professions. Square Enix has made the bundle available for free until May 8, 2023.

Players can easily claim their free copy of the expansion on PS5/PS4 by going to the PlayStation Store and assigning it to their PlayStation Network account. Once claimed, the expansion is theirs to keep forever.

PC players can download the Stormblood expansion by selecting the option via the Square Enix Store or Steam. They then need to log into Mog Station and register the code “RS3E” for a copy from the Square Enix Store, or code “RE3A” when using Steam. Square Enix has prepared detailed instructions to assist players in claiming their free copy of the expansion.

It’s worth noting that the release of the Stormblood expansion in June 2017 did not mark the end of Final Fantasy XIV’s development.

The game is still very popular and supported by Square Enix, with the Endwalker expansion being the most recent major update. The Endwalker expansion was released in December 2021 and added many new features, keeping the game fresh and exciting.

In conclusion, Square Enix’s offer to give away the Stormblood expansion for Final Fantasy XIV for free is a fantastic gesture for fans of the game.

Whether you play on console or PC, now is the perfect time to claim your free copy and enjoy the many new features that come with it. Don’t miss out on this excellent opportunity to expand your Final Fantasy XIV experience!
