Tom Holland Seeks to Clear His Name in Gripping Crime Thriller Trailer

The new Apple TV+ series features Tom Holland as a young man accused of murder, leaving viewers to determine the truth behind his character's story.

The Crowded Room

In a single night in 1979, Danny Sullivan (portrayed by Tom Holland) finds himself arrested and accused of murder. Journalist Rya Goodwin (played by Amanda Seyfried) takes it upon herself to conduct multiple interviews with the young man to uncover the truth behind the chilling events.

The recently released trailer reveals Goodwin’s changing perspective on Sullivan, who appears to be uncertain about the details of the crime.

As the series progresses, viewers will learn more about the boy’s past, but the story does not provide a definitive answer. Instead, the audience is left to judge whether they believe Tom Holland’s character is innocent or if the young man is concealing the truth.

The Crowded Room: Premiere and Inspiration

The Crowded Room” is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on June 9th. The series’ script is based on Daniel Keyes’ book “The Minds of Billy Milligan.” Keyes’ book recounts the real-life case of William Milligan, who was acquitted due to dissociative identity disorder. Milligan was believed to have 24 distinct and independent personalities.

In just one month, viewers will discover if Danny Sullivan’s story follows a similar path to that of William Milligan, as they are immersed in this suspenseful crime thriller.
