“Coming Soon”: Insider Leak Promises New Trailers for Silent Hill Projects

Fresh Trailers for Silent Hill Projects Rumored to Debut Soon, Giving Fans a Glimpse into the Next Chapter of the Franchise

Silent Hill 2 Remake

The long-anticipated Silent Hill 2 Remake, Silent Hill: Townfall, Silent Hill f, and Silent Hill Ascension have kept fans in suspense since their announcement. But now, it appears that the wait for more information may soon be over. Rumor has it that new trailers for these eagerly awaited projects are on the horizon.

A Reliable Leak Brings Hope

Dusk Golem, a well-known insider who accurately predicted the revival of the Silent Hill series last year, recently dropped the tantalizing suggestion that new trailers for Silent Hill: Townfall, Ascension, and the Silent Hill 2 Remake have been completed. However, the timing of their public release remains a mystery.

Sharing details in a chat on The Snitch’s Discord channel (screen captures of which found their way onto the Silent Hill subreddit), Golem hinted at having viewed the trailers personally, sparking excitement within the fan community.

A Teaser on the Way

“I don’t know the exact date for everything, but I’ll just say there’s a new SH2R, Town[fall] & Ascension trailer ready to be revealed at last,” the leaker proclaimed.

While Golem couldn’t pinpoint a release date, the insider alluded to an imminent reveal, suggesting it would occur “really soon, before June,” ideally before the Summer Gaming Fest scheduled for June 8-10.

Sneak Peek Impressions

Providing some early impressions, Golem noted the Remake features “great art direction”, Ascension appears “graphically great”, and Townfall “looks very interesting”.

However, details about A Short Message, a project already rated in Korea and Taiwan, remain elusive. Golem was unable to confirm whether this venture had been shelved.

What about Silent Hill f?

With Silent Hill f conspicuously absent from the update, its future remains uncertain. Yet the director of the next mainline Silent Hill game has initiated a conversation about what the enigmatic “f” might represent. Predictably, this sparked a flurry of guesses ranging from ‘fear’ and ‘faith’ to more humorous suggestions like ‘Florida’ and ‘fajita’.

The Silent Hill 2 Remake’s development team at Bloober hinted at a continued partnership with Konami, stirring up more excitement for future entries in this much-loved survival horror series.
