Unveiling Mortal Kombat 1’s Hardware Requirements: No Need for a High-End Machine

An Insight into the Hardware Specifications Needed for Mortal Kombat 1

NetherRealm Studios, the creators of Mortal Kombat 1, have officially unveiled the game’s hardware requirements. Contrary to many expectations, running this highly anticipated game doesn’t demand a top-of-the-range gaming rig. However, it does require a significant amount of free disk space.

Space and Specification Requirements

The latest entry in this popular fighting game franchise requires up to 100GB of storage, a sizable but not uncommon requirement for modern titles.

In a more user-friendly fashion, the rest of the game’s hardware requirements are considerably less daunting. Even for those aiming to play on low graphical settings, only 8GB of RAM and a GeForce GTX 980 graphics card will be required.

The recommended hardware specifications are also quite reasonable. Once again, the same 8GB of RAM is enough, but an upgrade to a more powerful GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics card will enhance the gaming experience.

A New Chapter in the Mortal Kombat Universe

Mortal Kombat 1 is being touted as a “rebirth of the universe”. The game will feature refreshed versions of the franchise’s iconic characters, alongside a compelling story campaign, new game modes, and a healthy dose of the series’ trademark brutality.

The game is scheduled to be released on September 19 and will be available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
