Iron Gate Studios has recently released an update for the popular game Valheim, introducing new difficulty modes to cater to a wider range of players. The studio aims to address the concerns of those who found the game’s previous difficulty level intimidating and demanding.
The newly added Hard difficulty mode intensifies the gameplay by increasing the hit points of enemies and enhancing the damage dealt by their attacks. On the other hand, the Easy mode provides a more relaxed experience, designed for pacifists and builders seeking a lighter adventure.
These exciting additions come as part of the Hildir’s Request update, which also introduces a new merchant offering a variety of outfits, robes, hats, and even firecrackers to enhance the in-game experience.
To unlock these new features, players must first assist Hildir in retrieving the items for her store and then venture into Valheim’s diverse biomes to gather the necessary materials for crafting the new clothing options.
Valheim, available on PC and Xbox as an early access title, has also become part of Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass subscription service, further expanding its player base.
With this update, Valheim aims to provide an inclusive and captivating gaming experience for both hardcore adventurers and those seeking a more relaxed journey, offering something for everyone to enjoy.
