Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass subscribers are in for a thrilling variety of new titles in February 2024’s first lineup of additions. Microsoft has revealed the Wave 1 games coming to Game Pass throughout the first half of February, delivering acclaimed hits and hidden gems across genres and platforms.

Headlining Wave 1 is the addition of Resident Evil 3, Capcom’s 2020 remake of the 1999 survival horror classic, on February 13. This modern take on Jill Valentine’s harrowing escape from Raccoon City is a must-play for RE fans and newbies alike. Madden NFL 24 also joins on February 8, bringing the latest entry in EA’s football juggernaut to the service.

More niche titles are also incoming, like quirky cooking game PlateUp! on February 15 and meditative puzzle adventure A Little To The Left on February 14. This diversity of triple-A powerhouses and indie darlings encapsulates what makes Game Pass so appealing.

These new titles will join recent Wave 2 additions like Persona 3 Reload, expanding Game Pass’s catalogue as titles like Opus: Echo of Starsong prepare to leave. With Wave 1 setting the stage, Microsoft is sure to have more blockbusters and hidden gems lined up when Wave 2 hits mid-February.

After recent reports suggesting Xbox exclusives like Starfield could come to PlayStation, Xbox head Phil Spencer has teased an imminent business update. This could have major implications for Game Pass as Microsoft aims to bring its service to even more players. For now, Wave 1 offers something for all gamers and shows Game Pass will keep growing in 2024.
