Neo-Noir Detective Thriller “Nobody Wants to Die” Unveils 24th Century New York

A Cinematic Narrative Adventure Powered by Unreal Engine 5.

From the neon-drenched streets of a cyberpunk future New York rises an enticing new narrative adventure. Announced by Polish developer Critical Hit Games, “Nobody Wants to Die” is a gripping detective noir game where players take on the role of Mortality Department Detective James Karra. Set in the year 2329, the game thrusts players into a dark world where immortality has become a commodity for the privileged elite.

In this dystopian metropolis where eternal life is just a “subscription” away for the wealthy, Detective Karra finds himself embroiled in a dangerous case. After a near-death experience, he’s tasked by his chief to pursue a ruthless serial killer targeting New York’s powerful upper echelons. Complicating matters is the fact that human consciousness can be digitally stored and transferred between bodies.

Karra’s only ally is young police liaison Sara Kai as they risk everything, uncovering the city’s darkest secrets among the ruling class. “Technology has advanced to offer humans eternal life, allowing consciousness to be stored in memory banks or transferred from one body to another – if you can afford the subscription,” states the developer.

Powered by Unreal Engine 5, “Nobody Wants to Die” promises a visually stunning cinematic experience with photorealistic graphics. The haunting announcement trailer showcases a rain-soaked futuristic NYC, with soaring sci-fi skylines contrasted against gritty urban underbellies.
