Natalie Portman has a new show coming out on Apple TV+ called “Lady in the Lake“! This is exciting because it’s her first leading role in a TV series. Portman plays a housewife in 1960s Baltimore who gets involved in a missing person’s case.

The series is based on a mystery novel and directed by Alma Har’el. Other cast members include Moses Ingram, Brett Gelman and Noah Jupe. It seems like it will be a gripping mystery drama set in the past.

“Lady in the Lake” will premiere on July 19th with the first two episodes. Then a new episode will come out each Friday until the finale on August 23rd. You can watch them starting at midnight on the East Coast or later that night if you live in other US time zones.

To see the show you need an Apple TV+ subscription, which costs $10 a month. But they offer a free week trial so you could binge the whole season for free if you time it right!

Some other Apple TV+ shows started as mini-series but became full ongoing shows after people loved them. Since “Lady in the Lake” has a big star like Natalie Portman, it could go that way too if ratings are good.

With the cool period setting, mystery plot and Portman in the lead role, this looks like a series worth checking out this summer!
