Gamescom 2022 Opening Light Live culminated with a gameplay trailer of Dead Island 2. We also got to know the exact release date of this game, which fans have been waiting almost a decade for.
During the Gamescom 2022 Opening Night Live, which lasted two hours, there were at least a dozen noteworthy games presented, however the biggest announcement was kept for the end of the show.
This turned out to be a trailer and gameplay trailer for Dead Island 2 – a highly anticipated first-person action game, where we will come to fight zombies in a post-apocalyptic world.
The trailer doesn’t look bad at first glance. Sadly, it is also difficult to wring out even a few words of admiration, for it does not resemble anything fresh, much less a game for which fans of the “one” have waited almost a decade.
How much longer will the fans wait? Several months – because we learned that Dead Island 2 will be released on February 3, 2023 for PC, PS4, PS5, XOne and XSX/S.
