The subject of Dead Island 2 returns to our pages regularly. While new specifics are still lacking, that should change soon.
Recent reports indicate that the release of the long awaited project should take place on February 3, 2023. At least that’s what the card that appeared in the Amazon store indicates.
Dead Island 2 was announced years ago. While the title has changed developers several times, everything indicates that it is finally heading for release. The first-person action game with RPG elements will supposedly take us to Los Angeles.
There, the virus is wreaking havoc on people, transforming them into bloodthirsty zombies, and we’ll have to survive in this situation. We will do it, thankfully, in collaboration with other players.
Key elements of Dead Island 2 are expected to be tightly twisted action, a dark humor as well as a huge world and plenty of weapons to use.
During the exploration we will visit places such as Venice Beach and Beverly Hills, and in each there will be plenty of activities.
The action will be observed from the perspective of 6 (selectable) characters. Each one has a unique personality and dialogues. It will be also possible to modify their appearance and skills.
Dead Island 2 is expected to be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Release, if Amazon’s store is to be believed, will be in early February 2023.
