After a launch marked by many problems, it appears that Halo Infinite has finally found its way. Indeed, arrival of Forge mode has breathed new life into 343 Industries’ FPS and prompted many users in trying their hand at increasingly interesting creations.
For example, the most worthy ones include the mod that transformed the title into Mario Kart. However, we’re talking today about a creation that is more in line with the spirit of the game.
The user DeathTempler, indeed, decided to recreate one of the historic Battlefield 4 maps within Halo. This map in question is Operation Metro which, as can be easily guessed, takes place among the areas of a subway station.
What results, which can be seen in the video within this article, is rather faithful to the original work. DeathTempler mentioned that he is a big fan of the Battlefield series, thus, chose to pay homage to one of his favorite games by bringing it inside 343 Industries’ title.
The user took about four days to create the map. Of the most notable changes made to Halo Infinite to adapt it to Battlefield 4, the DeathTempler reports that he fixed the gravity and adjusted the movement speed.
This way, simply moving between areas in this new setting recreates a feeling quite similar to the original experience. This was all made possible by the ease of use and variety of settings with which the Forge mode is equipped.
Let us remember, lastly, that the Forge mode for Halo Infinite is not yet officially available. Materials we have seen so far are the work of selected users who have already tried Forge.
No official date for its launch is yet available, though, so the new creative mode does not seem likely to arrive on our devices in the short term. In compensation, creations from those who are running tests are available in abundance.
