The French game studio Ubisoft has officially confirmed that the upcoming sequel to the series about the Assassin’s order would be Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
The publisher made the announcement on Twitter. Also attached to the message was the first promotional image. It was simultaneously announced that more details will be announced on September 10 at the Ubisoft Foward conference.
We should remind you that leaks from Assasin’s Creed Mirage surfaced online for several days already. A day before yesterday, the well-known journalist Jason Schreier disclosed that the story of the game will be set in Baghdad and the game will be stripped of RPG elements, marking a return to the “roots” of the series.
Assassin's Creed Mirage is the next Assassin's Creed game.

Meanwhile, this morning the cover of The Forty Thieves Quest DLC made its way online, which most likely is a reference to the tale of Ali Baba from the collection of tales “One Thousand and One Nights.”
