The Last of Us From HBO Release Date Apparently Leaked

No official release date for “The Last of Us” has yet been announced by HBO and Sony, however, it appears very likely that the wait for the series is not going to be that long. Should the latest reports prove true, the producers should soon launch an extensive promotional campaign for the highly awaited show.

Introducing the story of Joel and Ellie on the glass screen is a project that is thrilling many fans of digital gaming.

As of now, HBO is keeping all the excitement dosed – in September, they shared an atmospheric trailer for “The Last of Us”, which introduced the characters in great detail and featured a number of references to Naughty Dog’s game.

The whole crew of filmmakers, headed by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, pulled handfuls from the original, which has won the favor of many viewers since 2013.

Back in July, Casey Bloys had confirmed that the series will most likely debut in early 2023, but the station has so far not provided any concrete information.

However, the Naughty Dog Central team has received a shot of the production page in one of the local versions of HBO Max, which states that the premiere would happen as early as January 15.

Having said that, we have to consider that the indicated date may turn out to be incorrect, but the likelihood of such a mistake is low.

Should “The Last of Us” be amongst the most important premieres of January on the SVOD platform, the developers will soon start advertising the series – we are expected to see at least two more trailers to fuel anticipation and prepare not only IP enthusiasts, but also new viewers, for an immersive story.
