Finally today, Call of Duty: Warzone 2’s servers officially went live, with players able to check out new features that include proximity chat. The technology can be used in a very interesting way to communicate with rivals.
While Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is not a fully next-gen title, developers have taken care of a number of new features to differentiate the shooter from the previous installment.
One new feature is proximity chat – using it we can eavesdrop on players next to our character, however, our conversations can be heard by rivals at the same time.

Very good sample of the possibilities of the new feature is the following footage – players are trying to get along, even want to cooperate, but at some point…. player decides to greet opponents in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.
The proximity chat can significantly spice up gameplay, since we can never be sure that somewhere nearby an opponent is not approaching, who is listening to our conversations and will attack at the right moment.
Surely not everyone will be happy with this feature, however, it must be admitted that the proposal can significantly refresh gameplay.
