Hideo Kojima confirms a whole new game in development besides Death Stranding 2

Hideo Kojima announced that Death Stranding 2 is not going to be the only game in development by his company. Another new one is being worked on by Kojima Productions, but details about it are scarcely available.

The well-known video game director and developer, Hideo Kojima, is celebrating these days. His studio, Kojima Productions, turned seven years old this December.

Faced with this, the game developer has chosen to leave a message of thanks to all his fans that hides something else: the announcement of a new game. You can watch the announcement he shared on Twitter below:

“In addition to DS2, we are also preparing a completely new game, as well as some visual projects. I hope to be able to give you more information about all of them next year,” Kojima says.

One thing that’s not entirely clear is whether that new project is the leaked Overdose, rumored to be the fruit of his union with Microsoft, or whether it’s a completely new game. Whichever it is, we will know more about this new Kojima project in 2023.
