"Master of Puppets" to become an emoticon.

It appears that absolutely anything and anyone can come to Fortnite. The most recent proof of this thesis is the emoticon for “Master of Puppets,” which is one of the most recognizable songs by the American metal music genre gods Metalica.

The game does not yet have skins of James Hetfield and the rest of the group, although “yet” is perhaps quite the right word. What remains for now is the emoticon available in the store, which can be seen below. Cosmetic smuggling costs 500 V-dollars in the store, translating to about $15.

“Master of Puppets” on Fortnite is a group emoticon, meaning that even people without an item can join. A player who starts it is the equivalent of Hetfield, stepping up to the microphone with a guitar. Then others can join in, playing the role of the other band members.

The track was released in 1986, so it already has 36 years on its neck, which some people probably find hard to believe. However, “Master of Puppets” recently experienced a revival of sorts and a huge jump in popularity thanks to its appearance in Season 4 of “Stranger Things.”

It will soon be possible to play as Geralt in Fortnite, as the witcher has joined the playable characters. Doom Slayer is also available in Season 1, Chapter 4.
