BioShock 4 Gets a Big Boost: Story Writer Behind Ghost of Tsushima Joins the IP

We’re still waiting for a full presentation of the new game in the BioShock series, but we can confirm that a very experienced screenwriter is overseeing the IP. Liz Albl confirmed that she has joined Cloud Chamber.

Take-Two officially unveiled Cloud Chamber, a studio responsible for developing the BioShock brand, back in 2019. Work on the new part of the series was expected to begin much earlier, as a small team from 2K Games began to prepare work on an item codenamed Parkside as early as 2015.

What we can be sure of is that the title is still in the making, and it will feature Liz Albl – a screenwriter who will take charge of the narrative:

Specialist previously worked at Ubisoft for nearly 6 years, developing Far Cry 4, Far Cry 5, Watch Dogs Legion, followed by more than 2 years developing Ghost of Tsushima at Sucker Punch Productions and nearly 2 years handling the story for Wonder Woman from Monolith Productions.

It’ difficult to say, though, just what Liz Albl will actually be doing, since we can suspect that work on BioShock 4’s story has long been completed. Maybe she will be the one to handle the preparation of the story expansions?
