“The Last of Us” Is Fighting “Breaking Bad” for the Highest Rating on IMDb

However, for now they are being overtaken by an animated series.

The critically acclaimed series “The Last of Us” has been receiving rave reviews from both critics and viewers alike, solidifying its place at the forefront of the world’s most highly regarded television shows. Currently, it stands tall among the giants of the industry, locked in a fierce battle for the top spot on IMDB’s ranking – the ultimate litmus test for a series’ success.

But make no mistake, “The Last of Us” is not just any ordinary contender – it is locked in a death match with none other than the juggernaut that is “Breaking Bad” and the animated powerhouse “Bluey”, both of which boast incredibly high ratings.

At the moment, “Bluey” holds the coveted number one spot with a staggering 9.6 rating, followed closely by “Breaking Bad” with a 9.5, and “The Last of Us” trailing behind with a still impressive 9.4 rating.

However, it’s important to note that the lead is constantly changing, as the ratings for “The Last of Us” and “Bluey” are based on a relatively small sample size, with “only” 43,000 and 11,000 ratings respectively, compared to the nearly 2 million ratings given to “Breaking Bad”.

This means that things can still change, and it looks like the fight for the top spot will be fierce. So keep your eyes peeled, because the battle for IMDB’s top spot is heating up, and “The Last of Us” is ready to take on all comers.

So three TV series are in a battle for the title of the highest-rated production on IMDB. The first is a fierce and determined blue heeler, with a coat as vibrant as the ocean and eyes that seem to hold the secrets of the world. This blue dog, a symbol of resilience and courage, is more than just a pet, it’s a member of the family. It’s a loyal companion that will stop at nothing to protect those it loves.

IMDB ranking

Next is Heisenberg, a man who has been through the ringer and come out on top. He’s a ruthless leader, a master of manipulation, and a force to be reckoned with. He’s seen the worst of humanity, but he’s also seen the best. He’s a survivor, and in a world where the weak are left to die, he’s the kind of person you want on your side.

And finally, there are the survival specialists. These are the people who have spent their entire lives preparing for the end of the world. They know how to hunt, how to forage, and how to keep themselves alive in the face of unimaginable adversity. They’re the ultimate survivors, and in a post-apocalyptic world, they’re the ones who will come out on top.

In the end, it’s impossible to say who will win. But one thing is for sure, each one of these contenders has what it takes to survive in a world where only the strong survive. Whether it’s the blue dog’s loyalty, Heisenberg’s cunning, or the survival specialists’ expertise, in the end, it’s the determination and will to survive that will determine the ultimate victor.

When it comes to the crème de la crème of TV series, only a select few truly reign supreme. “The Last of Us” and “Breaking Bad” stand tall as the true heavyweights of the genre, towering above the rest. According to the collective musings of the internet, the tale of Ellie and Joel’s journey topped IMDB rankings at one point, even surpassing the likes of “Bluey“.

It’s worth noting, however, that these rankings are based on the opinions of viewers, not critics. Though some may argue that this makes them less reliable, it’s hard to deny that the fervor with which fans have praised the series is nothing short of impressive.

Though it’s possible that subsequent episodes may not live up to the promise of the pilot, it’s hard to imagine that being the case given the overwhelmingly positive response to the series as a whole.
