The Konami’s famous survival horror franchise Silent Hill, has had dedicated fans for many years. After an event dedicated to various projects related to the franchise, fans have been eagerly awaiting a flashback of their beloved series.
Recent rumors and leaks suggest that the horror saga will be seeing the arrival of remakes and new episodes, leading to a proper relaunch of the intellectual property.
A well-known insider recently reported that there are three unannounced games in the series currently in development, leading fans to believe that after the remake of Silent Hill 2, other classic chapters of the franchise will be remade as well.
On the gaming forum ResetEra, some fans of the series organized a survey asking the question, “If the remake of Silent Hill 2 is a success, do you think any of the other chapters will suffer the same treatment?” The survey results indicate that 44.1% of gamers believe the next remakes to hit shelves will be Silent Hill 1 and 3.
Additionally, 22% of survey respondents believe that all four classic chapters of the franchise will undergo the same treatment, including the underrated Silent Hill 4: The Room.
It is worth noting that Konami has yet to give any official confirmation or clarification regarding these rumors and leaks. Fans are eagerly awaiting the announcements that are expected to come in 2023.
Moreover, the franchise has once again become a source of controversy, as it is one of the video games that will never arrive on Xbox.
