Ray Fisher, known for his role as Cyborg in Justice League, has resurfaced on social media with a scathing attack on DC once again. This time, Fisher’s comments were triggered by the release of Shazam! Fury of the Gods.
In a post on Twitter, the actor accused former and current DC Films executives of protecting and endorsing Joss Whedon’s controversial behavior during Justice League’s production, suggesting they are unfit to lead the DC universe.
While Fisher’s supporters continue to stand by him, journalists on Twitter have criticized his extreme views, highlighting that none of the current DC authorities were involved in the Whedon situation.
However, Fisher’s disdain for DC seems to extend beyond Whedon. The actor has also expressed his dislike for James Gunn, the current co-head of the DCU, over a tweet Gunn liked by actor Alan Tudyk, which defended Whedon. Fisher attacked both Gunn and Tudyk on Twitter.
As the truth about the Justice League reshoots continues to come out, it is important to remember:
The former, and current, DC Films executives that protected and supported Joss Whedon are not fit for leadership.

It’s worth noting that Gunn was not affiliated with DC during the Whedon controversy, and to our knowledge, co-head of the DCU Peter Safran had no involvement either. Despite Fisher’s comments, neither Gunn nor Tudyk have responded publicly.
Fisher’s comments have once again reignited the conflict between the actor and DC, leaving fans and journalists divided.
While some praise Fisher for his bravery in speaking out against injustice, others argue that his extreme views undermine his credibility and could ultimately harm his career.
As the DC universe continues to evolve, it remains to be seen how Fisher’s ongoing criticism will impact the franchise’s future.
