Myriads: Renaissance – A City Builder Strategy with a Unique Twist

Are you a fan of strategy games? If so, you’ll definitely want to add Myriads: Renaissance to your list of must-play titles. This turn-based city builder strategy game, developed by independent French studio Sleeping Eight, offers an interesting mix of 4X elements and gameplay mechanics that are reminiscent of the Civilization series.

What sets Myriads: Renaissance apart from other strategy games is the unique world in which you build and expand your kingdom.

Instead of building on solid ground, you’ll be creating your empire on floating islands in the sky. The game’s world is procedurally generated, so each time you play it, the environment will look slightly different.

To expand your territory, you’ll need to connect more floating islands to your existing ones using special ships. But beware – there will be hostile forces trying to take over your islands, so you’ll need to defend your riches and repel any attacks.

Myriads: Renaissance

In Myriads: Renaissance, you’ll need to manage two main areas – city development and unit management. You’ll start the game with a small territory consisting of only three “shards” – pieces of land floating in the air, divided into three biomes: mountains for gold mining, forests for building development, and wetlands for accumulating food.

To advance your technology and expand your kingdom, you’ll need to accumulate resources and develop your buildings.

As you progress through the game, you’ll encounter bandits living on other floating islands that you’ll need to conquer to expand your territory and resources.

Myriads: Renaissance is only available as a short demo at the moment, but the game will debut on June 1 and will only be available on Steam. Keep in mind that the game does not have a Polish language version.

If you’re excited to try out this unique city builder strategy game, here are the minimum and recommended PC requirements:
