Since its release over a month ago, John Wick 4 has continued to dominate the box office, with Keanu Reeves reprising his iconic role as the deadly hitman.

The film boasts an impressive cast, featuring the likes of Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Ian McShane, Shamier Anderson, Rina Sawayama, Laurence Fishburne, Hiroyuki Sanada, Marko Zaror, Natalia Tena, Lance Reddick, Scott Adkins, and Aimee Kwan.

From the weekend of its premiere, it was clear that the latest installment in the John Wick franchise was going to be a hit, and it has since become the highest-grossing film in the series. This past weekend, the film crossed the $400 million mark, thanks in part to its strong international performance.

With this impressive earnings milestone, the John Wick franchise is poised to become a “billion-dollar” franchise. As of this writing, the combined box office total for all four films stands at $991 million, according to Collider.

It is highly likely that John Wick 4 will push the franchise over the coveted $1 billion mark, making it one of the most successful action franchises of all time.

The success of the John Wick franchise is a testament to its enduring popularity. What started as a relatively unknown action film has since become a global phenomenon, with fans around the world eagerly anticipating each new installment.

The intricate criminal underworld and thrilling action sequences have become hallmarks of the series, and Keanu Reeves’ performance as John Wick has helped to re-establish him as a bona fide action star.

Despite its R rating, which limits the number of theaters and audiences that can see the film, John Wick 4 is proving to be a box office powerhouse.
