With the upcoming release of Farming Simulator 23, the latest entry in the renowned farming simulation game series, scheduled for May 23, GIANTS Software has unveiled the game’s first gameplay trailer. Take a look at the trailer below to catch a glimpse of what’s in store.
The trailer provides a sneak peek into the features and gameplay elements that Farming Simulator 23 will bring to the table. Players can expect:
- Over 130 authentically replicated machines on Nintendo Switch, and over 100 on mobile devices;
- 14 new crops, such as grapes, olives, and sorghum;
- Two expansive, diverse maps inspired by North America and Europe;
- The ability to process harvested crops (e.g., turning flour into bread for sale);
- A variety of fieldwork activities, including new mechanics like plowing and weeding.
At its core, Farming Simulator 23 primarily focuses on animal husbandry, allowing players to care for cows, horses, pigs, sheep, and chickens.
Chickens, in particular, were the subject of a short film released a couple of weeks ago (see below), and various types can also be spotted in the recently released trailer.
While the shared gameplay trailer might not have showcased groundbreaking graphics, this is understandable as Farming Simulator 23 is set to launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch and mobile devices running Android and iOS systems.
In essence, the game can be considered a version of FS 22 adapted for these platforms, with a few additional novelties included.
