Xbox Game Pass Subscribers Can Now Offer Five Friends a Complimentary Trial

Ultimate and PC Subscribers Can Share a Two-Week PC Game Pass Trial with Friends

Xbox Game Pass has introduced a new friend referral feature, allowing Ultimate or PC subscribers to provide up to five friends with a two-week trial of the PC Game Pass.

Rasmus Mortensen, Senior Marketing Manager, explained in a blog post that Friend Referral invitations can be found on the Game Pass Home screen.

To share a referral, simply click the “Give PC Game Pass” button. Additionally, there is a new “Invite your friends” page available on the Xbox website.

It’s important to note that the 14-day free trial is limited to the PC Game Pass library, which contains most, but not all, of the complete Game Pass library. Furthermore, the trial invitations can only be claimed by individuals who have never tried Game Pass before.

To invite friends, simply copy the provided trial code or link, paste it into your preferred email or messaging app, and send it to your friend.

If a friend fails to redeem the trial code within 30 days, it will become available to share again after the 30-day period. The 14-day trial countdown will only commence once the trial has been redeemed.

Xbox highlights that, starting today, subscribers can share the PC Game Pass with more friends and dive into Redfall on its release day.

However, it’s worth noting that some Redfall review reveals some concerns. Single-player is hampered by a squad-based open-world shooter structure, multiplayer held back by odd decisions, and decent gunplay is marred by uninspiring mission structures.
