The long-awaited Mortal Kombat 1 console beta is finally happening, and fans are counting down the days! The beta period has been confirmed to take place from August 18th to August 21st. Are you ready to step into the iconic arena and test your fighting skills?
Exciting news for all those who have pre-ordered Mortal Kombat 1 on PS5 or Xbox Series X/S! The console beta is open to all pre-order players, regardless of the edition they’ve chosen (standard, premium, or Kollector’s Edition). Unfortunately, at this time, PC and Nintendo Switch players won’t have access to the beta.
When to Join the Battle
The Mortal Kombat 1 Pre-Order Beta will begin on Friday, August 18th, at 4 pm UK time (11 am EDT / 10 am CDT / 8 am PDT) and will continue until the same time on Monday, August 21st. It’s essential to note that players who participated in the Mortal Kombat 1 Online Stress Test won’t automatically gain access to the Pre-Order Beta.
Players, make sure to redeem your digital codes and download the Beta version of the game before the Beta period starts. However, access to the game will only be granted at the specified start time. If you try to launch the Beta version outside of the Beta period, you’ll encounter a “sign in to enter this menu” error, so be ready for the action when the time comes!
During the beta period, crossplay functionality won’t be available. To participate, you’ll need a valid PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription.
