Unveiling Metacritic’s Methodology

Metacritic’s recent publication not only provides the list of top-rated games but also delves into the meticulous process employed to curate it. The platform shares that it only considered games with a minimum of seven reviews before June 28th.

In the case of multi-platform games, the version with the most reviews took precedence. Expansions, compilations, and updated games that presented minimal differences from their original versions were excluded.
