Bandai Namco provides a fresh look at the world of Sand Land, highlighting the English voice cast and vehicular battles.

SAND LAND

Bandai Namco has unveiled an updated trailer for Sand Land, offering fans a closer look at the English voice cast and the thrilling vehicular combat in the game.

While Sand Land draws some attention due to its connection to Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball, it has captured the imagination of fans for another reason—the intriguing desert landscape and the presence of various vehicles reminiscent of the beloved Metal Max series.

The latest trailer not only showcases these vehicles but also emphasizes the vehicular combat, an aspect that piques the interest of many gamers. Although the trailer may not be entirely new, it’s a reminder of the game’s exciting elements.

One highlight of the updated trailer is the English voiceovers. While voiceovers in trailers can sometimes feel disconnected without context, Bandai Namco has introduced an experienced cast for Sand Land.

Risa Mei lends her voice to Beelzebub, John Lipow voices Rao, the rugged ranger-like character, Owen Thomas portrays Thief, and Keith Silverstein takes on the role of Lucifer. While these actors may not be household names in other media, their professionalism and talent make them an excellent fit for the game.

Sand Land is set in a vast wasteland that has engulfed the world following war and environmental catastrophes. Beelzebub joins a team on a quest to discover a source of water in this harsh, sun-scorched environment.

The game is based on a serial comic from Weekly Shōnen Jump by Akira Toriyama, first published in 2000. While the link to Toriyama’s work is intriguing, many players are drawn to Sand Land for its vehicular exploration and tank combat.

Although the official release date for Sand Land is yet to be announced, it is confirmed to be available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5, building anticipation for a unique and visually captivating gaming experience.
