Final Call for Ace Combat 7 and More on PS Plus

A New Horizon for PlayStation Plus as Popular Games Make Their Exit.

As the digital library of PlayStation Plus undergoes its monthly transformation, subscribers are set to witness the departure of several prominent games, including the acclaimed “Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown.” This exit marks a significant shift in the gaming roster available to PlayStation enthusiasts.

Released in 2019, “Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown” represents the pinnacle of Bandai Namco’s esteemed combat flight simulation series. This installment, which marked a return to the series’ fictional universe of Strangereal, stands out for its blend of authentic flight mechanics and sci-fi elements.

The game has been a part of the PS Plus lineup, offering an immersive experience to subscribers. However, its tenure is drawing to a close, leaving fans with limited time to soar through its dynamic skies.

Joining “Ace Combat 7” in its departure are several other notable games, each with its own distinct legacy. “Tekken 7” and “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard,” both the seventh iterations of their respective series, are also set to leave PS Plus.

“Tekken 7,” released in 2022, is renowned for evolving the classic fighting game formula with beginner-friendly features while continuing its narrative saga. “Resident Evil 7,” a 2017 title, redefined its franchise by shifting to a first-person perspective and re-emphasizing horror, offering a fresh take on the survival horror genre.

Additionally, the lineup includes a diverse range of genres departing from PS Plus. “Tacoma” and “Thomas Was Alone” offer unique narrative experiences in science fiction and indie platforming, respectively. The trio of JRPGs from Tokyo RPG Factory – “I Am Setsuna,” “Lost Sphear,” and “Oninaki” – pay homage to the retro era of gaming. Rounding off the list are “Hue” and “Lost Words: Beyond the Page,” each presenting innovative puzzle-platforming adventures.
