Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Launches “Operation: Day Zero” Event with Exclusive Rewards

Players can earn community and individual rewards by completing challenges in the limited-time launch event across Verdansk and Rebirth Island maps.

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is kicking off its highly anticipated worldwide release on March 21st with a bang – the Operation: Day Zero limited-time launch event. Beginning March 22nd, players will be able to jump into this massive community celebration and earn exclusive rewards just for playing.

Operation: Day Zero features six contested map zones – five across the iconic Verdansk map and one encompassing the entirety of Rebirth Island. By completing certain actions within these active zones like opening supply boxes, eliminating enemies, finishing contracts, and more, players will accrue “Event Points” (EP).

The EP earned goes towards two reward tracks – community milestones that unlock rewards for all players when achieved, as well as individual rewards based on each player’s personal EP contribution. Higher-tier individual rewards become available as more total EP is accumulated.

On the community side, players are working together towards clearing all six zones. Rewards up for grabs include animated calling cards, emblems, weapon blueprints for the X12 and M4, and the coveted “Golden Phantom” Ghost operator skin if the final zone is cleared.

Individually, a multitude of unique rewards await the most active participants, ranging from emblems and charms to vehicle skins, weapon blueprints, and even an exclusive “Bloody Reaper” Ghost operator look.

To accelerate EP gains, players can seek out special “Day Zero Supply Drops” that provide better loot and larger EP payouts compared to regular supply boxes. Equipping certain “Tactical Boosts” can also increase EP earned from specific actions.

All rewards earned across both tracks in Warzone Mobile’s Operation: Day Zero are available for use in the main Call of Duty: Warzone experience and the upcoming Modern Warfare III game as well, thanks to cross-progression support.

The Call of Duty team is touting several tips for maximizing EP income, such as completing as many contracts as possible, grouping up with friends, staying active by engaging with all parts of the map, using vehicles for rapid navigation, and utilizing the aforementioned Tactical Boosts.

Players have until April 3rd at 9AM PT to jump into Operation: Day Zero and claim any earned rewards from the in-game Event Store in Warzone Mobile. This launch celebration allows the game’s developers at Activision to commemorate the mobile battle royale experience while giving players an opportunity to earn exclusive loot.

With compelling community goals, valuable individual rewards tracks, and a wealth of fresh Warzone Mobile content to experience, Operation: Day Zero is gearing up to be an unmissable event for Call of Duty fans new and old. The fight for Verdansk and Rebirth Island begins on March 22nd.
