Fans of the acclaimed shop simulation game “Potionomics” are in for a treat, as publishers XSEED Games and Marvelous Europe have announced the “Masterwork Edition” of the title, set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch this fall.
Originally released for PC via Steam in October 2022, “Potionomics” has won over players with its unique blend of potion brewing, business management, and fantastical storytelling. Now, the Masterwork Edition promises to expand the experience with a “bevvy of new features,” according to the developers at Voracious Games.
Chief among the additions are full voice-overs, which will bring the game’s colorful cast of characters to life like never before. Additionally, the Masterwork Edition will introduce an “Endless Mode,” allowing players to continue their potion-making journey indefinitely, as well as “Cozy” and “Capitalism” difficulty levels to cater to various playstyles.
“Potionomics is a video game about the business side of potion brewing,” the game’s overview explains. “Assume the role of a penniless witch named Sylvia who must transform her debt-ridden potion shop into a thriving business.
