The highly anticipated Transformers One made a thunderous debut at the Annecy Animation Festival, drawing enthusiastic cheers and laughs as director Josh Cooley unveiled his fresh vision for the iconic franchise’s origin story.
In the first public screening of the Paramount animated feature, the star-studded vocal talents of Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Brian Tyree Henry and others brought new life and depth to familiar Autobot and Decepticon characters. Despite being an unfinished cut, the rapturous audience response – including a standing ovation – signaled Cooley has successfully reinvigorated the 40-year-old property.
