Prime Video’s hit series “Fallout” is set to return with a second season that actor Walton Goggins claims will dramatically surpass its first installment. In a recent interview at the “The White Lotus” premiere, Goggins expressed excitement about the show’s creative direction and production.
“This blows [Season 1] out of the water,” Goggins told reporters, praising the writers and production team’s efforts. The series, adapted from the popular Bethesda video game franchise, follows survivors emerging from a luxury fallout shelter 200 years after a nuclear apocalypse.
Production for the second season has undergone significant changes, including a move from New York to Los Angeles after securing a $25 million tax credit. Despite brief delays caused by California wildfires, the show continues to make steady progress.
The ensemble cast remains strong, with Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, and Kyle MacLachlan returning. A notable addition this season is actor Macaulay Culkin, first reported by Deadline in November. The series continues to be executive produced by Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, and Graham Wagner.
