The Set Decorators Society of America unveiled the nominations for its 2024–2025 Television Awards on June 6, recognizing excellence in set design and décor for projects released between June 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025. Voting among members opens July 11 and closes July 18, with winners set to be announced at a ceremony on August 10 in Los Angeles.
Leading the field in the one-hour contemporary series category are Black Mirror, Severance and The White Lotus, alongside Peacock’s Poker Face and Apple TV+’s Your Friends & Neighbors. Period dramas received strong support, with 1923: The Final Season, Bridgerton S3, Pachinko and Yellowjackets S3 among the nominees, joined by Netflix’s One Hundred Years of Solitude. The fantasy/sci-fi lineup features Andor S2, Dune: Prophecy, House of the Dragon S2, The Last of Us S2 and The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power S2.
In the television movie/limited series category, nominations span varied storytelling styles—from Netflix’s The Four Seasons to Hulu’s Interior Chinatown and Apple TV+’s Lady in the Lake, as well as Monster: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story and Sirens. Half-hour single-camera contenders include HBO Max’s Hacks, FX’s What We Do in the Shadows and Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building, while multi-camera shows like Frasier S2 and Hulu’s Mid-Century Modern vie in their category.
Several of these series are also among front-runners in upcoming Emmy races, underscoring the role of set decoration in shaping narrative worlds and audience immersion. Last year’s television winners—Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Fallout, Palm Royale, Ripley and Hacks—demonstrated the society’s recognition of both genre storytelling and innovative design; only Hacks returns this season to defend its accolade.
As the industry continues to blend lavish period tableaux, high-concept fantasy realms and intimate contemporary settings, these nominations highlight the craft of set decorators who bring each epoch and environment to vivid life.
