Star Wars the Acolyte Now Has Its Leading Actress

Amanda Sltenberg will take the lead role

Star Wars the Acolyte

In recent years, a lot of Star Wars-related content has emerged, including the movies of the latest trilogy, the Mandalorian series, Bobba Fett and the upcoming Andor.

Nevertheless, there has been very little brought to the table about The Acolyte, which is one of the shows that has just announced its lead actress.

Through the official Twitter account of the franchise it has been confirmed that Amanda Sltenberg would be the one to bring the main character of the series to life.

If you do not know, the actress has been part of such outstanding projects as Bodies, Bodies, Bodies.

The Acolyte comes from Russian Doll co-creator Leslye Headland. This is her brief synopsis: “The Acolyte is a mystery thriller which will take viewers into a galaxy of dark secrets and rising powers of the dark side in the final days of the High Republic era.”

No further details surrounding the series have been released for now, not even an approximate release date, with only a claim that it will arrive sometime in 2022.

For Star Wars die-hard fans, though, next August 31 will see the premiere of none other than Andor on Disney Plus.
