Hulu has begun promoting the next season of the story of June’s fight against the authorities of Gilead. According to the creators, “A Cache Story” continues, and the presented information indicates that the main character will have to face the consequences of her actions.
“The Handmaid’s Tale” is no longer as popular as it was when the first season premiered, however, Hulu is very interested in developing the adventure, which in the new season could offer some very interesting storylines.
We already know that June is in Canada, though it turns out that Gilead is also causing turmoil in Toronto, and that June isn’t safe beyond the country’s borders either.
In the new season, Serena will begin to mourn and Commander Lawrence, assisted by Aunt Lydia, will try to reform Gilead and simultaneously gain power.
Hulu is interestingly changing “The Handmaid’s Tale” by responding to the events and trying to offer not only the plots that were interesting at the start of the series premiere, but the writers might show the evolution of Gilead in an interesting way – making the state face difficult times, which might lead to interesting developments.
