Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Postponed for the Third Time

Players waiting for the release of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will have to wait more.

Warhammer 40,000 Darktide Postponed for the Third Time

Everything seemed to be in order with the title in question, with a new release date revealed a few weeks ago, after all. But it turns out that the developers have changed plans again, for the third time.

This time, the delay is not huge (albeit certainly noticeable for those interested), as Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is scheduled to debut on November 30 instead of September.

Meanwhile, it is important to stress here that the given date applies only to the PC version. While the game is also being prepared for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles, but their owners will have to wait even longer.

“Delaying the release is probably one of the most difficult decisions a developer faces, and we are not excited about making it.

However, we hope that it is a good indication of our commitment and approach, a willingness to give ourselves the necessary time to do whatever it takes to make the best possible game.” said Martin Wahlund, CEO and co-founder of Fatshark studio.

There will be beta tests that you can sign up for

Some people are going to get a chance to play a little earlier. The planned tests – technical and beta – have also been announced. More details were not given, but sign-ups are already being accepted on the game’s official website.

A shooter with hordes of monsters

Meanwhile, we should mention that Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is going to take players to the city of Tertium, which will have to be retaken from the hands of hordes of bloodthirsty opponents. Fatshark studio is again betting on cooperative gameplay.

Indeed, again, because it was the same in the Vermintide series. However, here you can now expect not only melee combat, but also a good dose of firearms. All of the fun will be served in the accompaniment of considerable brutality.
