The Los Angeles Rams, an American soccer team, posted on social media screenshots from a special event where the athletes played Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Part of the photos quickly disappeared, however, it was already too late. Quality is not the highest, and the short shots resemble – shockingly, perhaps – Call of Duty.
However, what caught our attention was a screenshot that clearly shows the word “DMZ.” We’re probably talking about the mode, one that Activision has not yet officially confirmed.

As speculated unofficially for several months now, the DMZ is a gameplay mode reminiscent of Escape from Tarkov’s premise, including the possibility to sell items found during missions.
The entire game is set to debut with Modern Warfare 2, but in a beta version, and with plans for further development.

Developers are reportedly developing four varied maps, the said marketplace for selling and buying items, even dynamic weather and day cycle, as well as the ability to get skins and schemes for “normal” modes, including Warzone 2.
The premise of Escape from Tarkov is worth recalling: you enter a sizable map with one life, and compete against artificial intelligence and other players.
While exploring, we complete missions and find items, which we only keep if we manage to escape with our lives.
