Several days ago we learned the exact release date of The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me, a new horror game from the creators of Until Dawn and The Quarry.

This announcement was also accompanied by a feature trailer, but it appears that this is not the end of videos related to the mentioned production.

The developers, after all, have decided to prepare a special video, where they shared some information, and presented quite a few gameplay fragments from their new title.

In the mentioned footage – released during the ongoing Gamescom 2022 trade show – game director Tom Heaton talks about, amongst other things, the inspirations and true story on which the plot of The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me was based.

The video also presents a 16-minute gameplay, which lets you see how the upcoming production from the creators of Until Dawn and The Quarry looks in action.

The game is certainly not a revolution, but developers have taken care of a few new mechanics that will add some variety to the gameplay.

The group of documentary filmmakers receives a mysterious phone call inviting them to a contemporary replica of the “Murder Castle” of the serial killer H. H. Holmes.

Filmmakers can’t resist the opportunity to attract an audience. A hotel is the perfect location for filming a new episode of their documentary series, but not all is as it seems.

A crew discovers that someone is watching and even manipulating them. Now, a lot more is at stake than viewership,” the game’s description on Steam reads.

Lastly, a reminder that The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me is heading to PC and PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles. This game is scheduled to debut on the aforementioned platforms on November 18 this year.
