Saints Row System Requirements Unveiled: Even Weaker PC Owners Can Play the Game

A nearly ten-year-old PC will be enough to play the game.

Saints Row

The Volition studio has disclosed the official system requirements of Saints Row. As it turns out, to play the new “Saints” we will not need a powerful computer at all.

According to what we can read on the game’s official website, to run the game on minimum settings, in 1080p and at 30 frames per second, all you need is a Core i3-3240 processor, 8GB of RAM and a GeForce GTX 970 with 4GB of VRAM.

Thus, we are discussing here a ten-year-old processor and an eight-year-old graphics card. AMD enthusiasts need to go for slightly newer hardware: a Ryzen 3 1200 processor and Radeon RX 480 graphics with 4GB VRAM.

Meanwhile, to play on maximum settings, at 4K resolution and at 60 fps, we require a Core i5-12600 or Ryzen 7 5700X processor, 16 GB RAM and an RTX 3080 Ti or Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics card with 12 GB VRAM.

In either case, we have to have Windows 10 64-bit and have set aside 50 GB of disk space. A detailed list of requirements is included below.

Saints Row serves as a reboot of the popular series. The game is scheduled to arrive next Tuesday on PC (via the Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
