The Steam Next Fest 2022 is giving gamers a chance to play demos of many attractive titles coming soon. Among the most interesting productions to test out during this event is Scars Above.

This science fiction production, first revealed at Gamescom 2022, has just been given a demo version. This is all on the occasion of the Steam Next Fest 2022 event, where you can check out gameplay from a number of highly interesting productions, including Manor Lords, Asterigos and The Entropy Center. You can read more about Steam Next Fest 2022 here.

The following is a gameplay recording from the Scars Above demo waiting for you. As you can see in the game, there will be no shortage of very atmospheric themes in the title while you explore the mysterious planet where the main character found herself.

We quickly find out that it was once inhabited by a certain civilization, which has left bizarre artifacts, evoking disturbing visions.

This all promises to be an extremely exciting and intriguing adventure – on top of that, featuring very nice graphics and nice combat mechanics in TPP view (themes from the 14th minute of the video).

Now the question is when will we play Scars Above? Sadly, Mad Head Games studio still hasn’t presented a specific release window.

However, we do know that the sci-fi production has a publisher. It is a company called Prime Matter, ensuring that the release will happen “very soon” (probably in 2023). This title will be released on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One and XSX/XSS.

Unsure if “Scars Above” is your next gaming adventure? Read our comprehensive “Scars Above Review” to help make your decision. Discover it today!
