Evil West’s release is fast approaching. Not surprisingly, then, the developers from Flying Wild Hog last week revealed the official hardware requirements of the game for the PC version.
But it turns out that this is not the end of information associated with the said production. In fact, the home studio shared details about the game’s resolution and animation fluidity on Sony and Microsoft’s respective consoles.
It appears that for Evil West, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X owners will get a choice of two options – Quality Mode and Performance Mode.
The first will provide gameplay in 4K and 30 FPS, and the second will allow to experience the said production in 1080p and 60 frames per second.
Users of Xbox Series S consoles, meanwhile, won’t have to settle for Full HD resolution and animation fluidity of 30 FPS.
The developers at Flying Wild Hog also revealed how Evil West will run on Sony’s and Microsoft’s eighth-generation consoles, with the total looking as follows:
- Xbox One/ Xbox One S – 1080p and 30 FPS;
- Xbox One X – 2160p and 30 FPS;
- PlayStation 4 – 1080p and 30 FPS;
- PlayStation 4 Pro – 1080p and 30 FPS (with higher quality graphics compared to the base PS4).
XboxOne/OneS: 1080p @ 30fps
XboxOneX: 2160p @ 30fps
PS4: 1080p @ 30fps
PS4 Pro: 1080p @ 30fps (with improved graphical quality compared to PS4)
XSS: 1080p @ 30fps
XSX: 2160p @ 30fps (quality) / 1080p @ 60fps (performance)

Lastly, recall that Evil West is heading to PC and PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
According to announcements, this game is scheduled to debut on the mentioned platforms on November 22 this year.
