As reported by Mobilegamer, Netflix has begun a search for developers to create a big-budget shooter aimed at personal computers, according to Mobilegamer.
So it seems that the corporation is getting more serious about entering the market and is looking for, amongst other things, a person to head the production of the project, creative director and art director. What exactly, therefore, might this be about?

The ads read that the streaming platform looks for candidates with the skills to create a quality game that is emotionally resonant, icons and full of heart.
Meanwhile, a candidate should be passionate about social systems as well as cooperative and competitive gameplay, ideally with experience in developing FPP or TPP shooters and with… game-services.
We also find mentions of developing a single truth for the world, the characters and the narrative layer, which indicates an elaborate story layer.
The company most likely wants to combine it with a shooter containing micropayments, presumably focused on online gameplay.
So the question remains whether this will be an adaptation of one of the many brands in Netflix’s catalog.
Company vice president of games, Mike Verdu, said recently that there still hasn’t been a definitive game in the hugely popular Stranger Things universe after all, which is why fans should look out for it.
However, in the job offer we read that one of the director’s responsibilities would be to develop a world/character/narrative worthy of Netflix’s films and series – the former seeming a bit odd for an existing brand.
In addition to that, candidates must expect to be responsible for transferring the brand to other media. So, for now we have to wait patiently for more information.
