Title Update 5 Is Coming Soon for FIFA 23

At the height of the Qatar World Cup, EA Sports is heralding the imminent arrival of Title Update 5, a new core game update for FIFA 23 intended for PC and next-generation consoles. We find out together the highlights of the patch.

The Title Update 5 is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via EA App, Origin, Steam and Epic Games Store.

While EA Sports has not released an official date, it does not usually let much time pass from the announcement to the actual making available of an update, which could be as early as Nov. 30th at this point.

The changes included in the patch are multiple and affect gameplay, the audio-visual component and the FIFA Ultimate Team, Career, FIFA World Cup and Pro Clubs x VOLTA FOOTBALL modes.

In terms of gameplay, FIFA 23’s Title Update 5 reduces the effectiveness of the Driven Lobbed Through Passes, the move that can be performed with L1/LB + R1/RB + △/Y.

This nerf will be realized through a reduction in the accuracy of passes away from the sight of the player making the pass and a reduction in the height of the ball’s trajectory.

Meanwhile, In FIFA Ultimate Team, the update fixes a bug that causes a placeholder image to appear in the shot comparison graph during the match, and in FIFA World Cup, it resolves several bugs such as missed post-match scenes in the finals of Online Tournaments or User Interface glitches in the knockout phase of Online Tournaments.

Additionally, the Title Update 5 fixes goalkeeper growth attributes in Career Mode and improves stability in Pro Clubs x VOLTA FOOTBALL.

There are many changes listed so far, but it certainly doesn’t end there-if you’re curious to find out all of them head over to the official EA Sports and FIFA 23 Trello Board.
