In 2022, Devolver Digital teamed up with Massive Monster to deliver one of the biggest indie hits of the year with the cultish roguelike game titled Cult of the Lamb.
Moreover, a few of you may have already fully built your own cult. But don’t despair! This is because the developers have announced that more content is on the way ─ and for free!

A lot of desired features are coming!
Just before the turn of the year, Massive Monster has confirmed that they will be releasing a “major” content update for Cult of the Lamb in 2023.
Deep as well as quality-of-life changes are said to be on board, with the difficulty as well as accessibility options also being addressed. A new hard attack is also to be brought into the game.
Most importantly, developers promise to add features that many players have been asking for. So far, the developers didn’t want to go into detail, so they only provided small teasers about the new features. A specific release date has also not yet been announced.
“Cult of the Lamb” came out last August for the PlayStation 5, the PlayStation 4, the Xbox Series X/S, the Xbox One, the Nintendo Switch and the PC.
The game was able to achieve a critic average of 84 points and even secured a nomination for Best Indie Game at this year’s Game Awards. We’ll update you as soon as more details about the new content are revealed.
