“Happy New Year. Dragon’s Dogma 2 development is progressing well, becoming an interesting game. Stay tuned for more news to come,” reads Itsuno’s tweet, which is accompanied by the game’s logo and a photo of the developer.
Thus, a willingness to release more information about Dragon’s Dogma 2 is reiterated, as it had also emerged in recent days, moreover reporting that development is progressing well.
That suggests that it is also well underway, given that it is shaping up to be an “interesting” game to put it in the typical understatement of Capcom’s director.
Then again, the title in question also appeared several times within the year-end survey released by the company, which hints at some progress made by the game in the meantime.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 was only officially announced last June during the 10th anniversary event, although it had been residing in rumors for a long time.
