PlayStation Plus is getting ready for its next big announcement, which will be made on December 14 to unveil the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games that will close out the year for Sony’s subscription service.
Nevertheless, the current news of the platform goes through the free PlayStation Plus Essentials games that were unveiled last week, which are now available for download on PS4 or PS5.
In this way, you can now access the PlayStation Plus tab on your console to download the three free video games that form part of the catalog in the month of December.
These include Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Biomutant and Knockout Divine, so you’ll add a total of five games forever to your subscription service library, since the Mass Effect compilation includes the three adventures of the main trilogy of the saga.
Just remember that you must claim the games before next January 3, 2023 for them to become part of your collection of titles on PlayStation.

PlayStation Plus Extra & Premium to lose two games in December 2022
One of the other announcements concerning PlayStation Plus that have been made known lately is that two of the video games of the Extra and Premium modes will cease to be available very soon.
This time, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Pillars of Eternity will disappear from the subscription service on December 20, to coincide with the release of the new titles in the aforementioned modes. Therefore, there are only a few days left to continue enjoying them through PlayStation Plus.
It is not known if these will be the only two titles that will leave the service or if there is another announcement that will cause the abandonment of new video games, which usually happens in advance through its end date on the PlayStation Store, so it seems unlikely at this point that there are any more games that will disappear this month.
